Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia, co-stars on “The Bachelorette,” watched the dramatic two-part season finale. Both of the women had a remaining suitor as the final episode began. Windey was left with a hesitant-looking Erich Schwer, while Recchia was abandoned with Tino Franco.
Recchia had planned to propose to Tino, but she accidentally revealed that she and Tino had been experiencing relationship problems and that he had kissed another woman when they were together during the live broadcast. Recchia had considered breaking off the engagement. Before filming began, he said, he and the woman had kissed in a bar where they had met.
Following his accusation that Recchia was unwilling to go to therapy, the two engaged in a fight over the ring. Before turning and leaving, he asked, “Is there any way this may be resolved?” He went back to turn around and leave again. The conflict continued until the host, Jesse Palmer, informed Recchia that someone “wanted a chance to talk to you,” at which point Aven Jones, the runner-up, entered the stage. In the end, Recchia went with him when he left.
During this time, Erich made his proposal to Windey, and he eventually felt sure about his choice. After being asked by Palmer about allegations that he was going on the show for business chances, he admitted that his behavior was unprofessional and labeled himself a coward for it, but he said that his love for Windey was genuine.
After that, Palmer announced that the following season’s “Bachelor” would be Zach Shallcross, who finished in second place behind Recchia. A woman by the name of Brianna was selected as the recipient of the first impression rose on Twitter, and as a result, she is guaranteed to advance past the first week of competition in the mansion.
