One of the coolest automobiles to hit the market in the 21st century is known as the Ferrari SF90. This particular car is a beast as it’s capable of smoking just about every other vehicle in its dust. The Ferrari SF90 made its debut back in 2021, and it has taken the automobile industry by storm. This high-performance coupe offers plug-in hybrid function, which only adds to its performance capability. First and foremost, the name SF90 stands for the brand’s 90-year heritage of racing. The heart of this car is its 986-horsepower powertrain. Its twin-turbocharged V8 produces over 760 horsepower. On the other hand, the additional power output will come from its three electric motors. Two of the electric motors will power the front wheels and are used to put the car in reverse. Thanks to being a PHEV, the new SF90 can be driven in all-electric mode for an estimated 15 miles. There’s also a hybrid mode that switches back and forth between the gas-powered engine and PHEV system.

Gifted in the Performance Department

The Ferrari SF90 is a beast on the highway, and it’s a monster on the track. This car can reach 60 mph in about 2.4 seconds. Individual tests have shown that the SF90 can reach 60 mph in just 2.1 seconds. Of course, its all-wheel drive setup plays a huge role in gaining traction from a standstill. Supercars such as the McLaren 765LT, McLaren Sienna, and Porshe 918 have all been destroyed by the SF90. If you plan to purchase this car, then it’s best not to drive it in qualify mode, which is one of many drive settings. Qualify mode distributes the most power possible. Of course, buyers can opt for the automatic drive setting if you don’t want to use the paddle shifters. The acceleration of this car is monumental, and its second gear is brutal enough to whip the vehicle sideways. Adrenaline action is definitely on the menu, but you’ll have to shell out a minimum of $500K. The more carbon fiber that’s added, the higher its MSRP will be. The new Ferrari SF90 Spider will be hitting the scene in April 2022. Different wheel designs will be available while enjoying drop-top capability.
