When you’re looking for a new car, many people automatically start with the exterior of the car. They want to see its sleek exterior and sleek interior, painting pictures in their head of what they’ll be able to do with it on road trips or using it for work. However, even if you find a perfect vehicle that looks like your dream come true, aesthetics only get you so far.

So let’s dive into the car itself, going deep into its tech. Here are four tech features to look for when buying a car.

  1. Bluetooth

This one is a no-brainer. Bluetooth connectivity should be an essential part of every car on the market. It makes the most basic things you do in a car easier and more accessible. We’ve all been in that situation where your buddy calls you, or you call someone, and you get into the car only to discover that your phone doesn’t connect to the Bluetooth inside. Then you have to take your phone out of your pocket, find the right button to bring up the screen, and start trying to dial.

  1. Music Streaming

If Bluetooth isn’t enough for you, music streaming is another step up that can really make using a car convenient. If you don’t want all of your music on a phone and you want to leave it in the car or in your bag, streaming is a way to do that without having to use your phone.

The tech doesn’t end there, though. You can even have your favorite music created by Spotify. Spotify has officially partnered with Audi, so you can use their app and have it matched with each Audi’s playlist for easy listening.

  1. Navigation

Navigation is one of those things that seems like it should be standard on every car. It’s not uncommon for drivers to become easily lost, which means the only way you’ll ever get around is by using a GPS system. If you want your navigation system to be more than just a GPS, it’s possible. With the latest technology, Audi has made it so you can use their app and access navigation routes from the dashboard.

  1. Multitasking

It’s not uncommon for drivers to have to switch between their phones and the radio as they drive under different conditions. You might like to change your station when you run into a commercial break or wave at someone in the back seat while talking on the phone. That’s where multitasking comes in.
