Everyone knows JuJu Smith-Schuster as the Pittsburgh Steelers all-star player, however, not many were aware of his so-called “double-life” as a video game streamer. In fact, JuJu has an almost life-long love for video games, dating back to a bet he made with his grandmother to get him his first PlayStation game console.

Back then, the first PlayStation system was on the market, and a young JuJu Smith-Schuster was only in middle school. He still played football though. That much hasn’t changed. JuJu bet his grandmother $20 for every touchdown he scored, which might have been a driving force of his success in sports, after all.

Scoring over five times in his very next football game, JuJu earned enough money from his grandmother, a woman of her word, to get the PlayStation console in no time. JuJu went on to become the youngest player in the NFL, becoming a member of the league at the tender age of twenty. Moreover, while playing in the NFL, he has broken a handful of records as well, but success has not changed JuJu. That little boy who bet his grandmother can still be seen in JuJu Smith-Schuster to this day.

For instance, JuJu only endorses brands and products that he actually enjoys and uses. As a big fan of eating pizza, JuJu has endorsed Pizza Hut, and as an avid gamer, he decided to back the popular video game, Call of Duty, which he regularly streams on YouTube when he isn’t out on the field. In addition to gaining a massive following all on his own, JuJu was part of a streaming video that many in the gaming community saw as a pivotal point in the live-streaming world. JuJu joined leading streamer, Ninja, along with rappers Drake and Travis Scott to play the online, multiplayer game, Fortnite.

JuJu’s own channel, JuJuTV, is expected to reach even more success as his fame grows and his popularity increases. For fans of both the Steelers and video games, JuJu is a shining beacon of what is possible if one puts their mind to it.
