Eagles Get Crucial Win Against Giants

It has been a very disappointing season for the Philadelphia Eagles. That having been said, they are now tied for the lead in the NFC East division after their 23-17 win over the New York Giants at Lincoln Financial Field. The Eagles still only have a 6-7 record. However, that is still good enough for a share of the division lead with the Dallas Cowboys. It is very possible that the winner of this division could have a losing record at the end of the year. The Eagles did not play a great game against the Giants. They were able to rally late in the game.

The Eagles won the coin flip and elected to take the ball first. They scored a touchdown on their first possession. This allowed them to win the game without the Giants ever touching the ball. However, the owner of the Giants said that the decision on the future of the head coach and the general manager will not be decided until the season is totally finished.

The Eagles still have a great shot to make the playoffs. Carson Wentz has not played well this year. His passes have not been accurate. However, the Eagles have been very fortunate that they are in a division that is filled with a bunch of bad teams. There have also been a few rumors about the Eagles cleaning house and firing the entire coaching staff if they do not make the playoffs.
