Cowboys Have Easy Win Over Giants

It has been a nightmare season so far in 2019 for the New York Giants. They have failed miserably at every turn. Through the first eight games of the season, they have only managed to compile a pathetic 2-6 record. The reality is the Giants should really be 1-7. This is because one of their two wins was the result of a missed field goal against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The field goal was from very close range and should have been made. The only legit win the Giants have this year is against the Washington Redskins. They are one of the few teams that are actually worse than the Giants.

On Monday night, the Giants experienced yet another humiliating defeat at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys on national TV. The final score was 37-18. The Giants have a rookie QB named Daniel Jones. He has a very bad habit of fumbling the ball. He has had a hard time holding onto the ball since way back in training camp. He needs to work on his ball security if he is ever going to be a successful player in this league. The Giant defense has been a huge disappointment this year. They have allowed far too many plays of over 40 years.

Nobody was under the delusion that the Giants were headed to the Super Bowl this year. However, few people could have imagined that the team would only win two of its first eight games. For the most part, the team has not been competitive at all. One of the biggest problems for the Giants in terms of their offense is the fact that they do not have a big threat at wide receiver. They did have Odell Beckham. However, they traded him to the Cleveland Browns.

The Cowboys have been playing much better of late. Owner and general manager Jerry Jones was very happy with the way his team played against the Giants. He feels that his team is in a great position right now to make the playoffs. All of the other teams in the NFC East have been struggling in recent weeks. Jones feels that the division is there for the taking. The Cowboys just need to avoid any key injuries. Cowboys QB Dak Prescott started the game by throwing an interception on his first pass. However, he quickly rebounded and played well for the rest of the game.
