Brandon Larson has been overweight since he was a child. However, his weight wasn’t his top concern when he was growing up. He had an alcoholic father. His family also struggled to pay for the basics.

Brandon’s failure to take care of his health caught up with him when he reached his 20s. His weight got up to 360 pounds. He decided to make a change when his first child was born. Brandon described himself as being a husky kid. Even though he was active, he was still overweight.

Brandon stated on Men’s Health that he was a class clown when he was in school. He would use humor to mask the pain that he was feeling. His problems got worse when he entered middle school. His father started using hard core drugs, which made it even harder for the family to survive.

Brandon weighed 300 pounds by the time he entered high school. He gained even more weight in college. He weighed 360 pounds when he graduated. Things changed when he met the love of his life, got married and found out that he was going to be a father.

Brandon started walking on a treadmill at a local gym. He also started changing his eating habits. He stopped eating processed food and starting eating more lean meat, fruits and vegetables. He admitted that food was his biggest struggle. He had to re-wire his brain because he had been eating unhealthy his entire life.

Brandon got down to 180 pounds by changing his habits. He is now 26-years-old and weighs 210 pounds. Even though he gained 30 pounds, it is all muscle gain.

Brandon stated that he was happy when he finally reached his goal weight. He said he fought the war for three years and finally won. He has some advice for people who want to lose weight. He said that getting started is the most important thing that you can do. Once you get started, you will figure everything else out.
