Overwatch – “I’ve Got You In My Sights”

Ability Overview

Soldier 76 it’s one of the easiest and most powerful characters to play in Blizzards new game Overwatch. At a first glance Soldier 76 has that Call of Duty look and feel as you play. Besides his powerful short to mid-range rifle he has three other amazing skills including Sprint, Biotic Field and Helix Rockets. One thing to keep in mind is that when firing the rifle the first couple of shots are more accurate than the rest. You can get away with spraying and praying using Soldier 76 at a close range but mid to long range short bursts are more accurate. Here’s an overview of his skills.

Sprint gives you the ability to quickly rush into team fights, objectives or retreat to a safe spot on the map.The Biotic Field is basically a area of effect heal including yourself. You can use the Biotic Field to recover from a team fight, help your teammates or stand your ground at an objective point. The Helix Rockets cover a wide range making it easy to hit opponents and causing 120 damage. Considering that there are multiple characters such as Tracert, Symmetra and Zenyatta who have between 100-150 HP this can mean an instant kill. Other characters have an HP range between 200-250 meaning that a couple of shots and Helix Rockets can also do a quick job.

Last but not least it’s the Soldier 76 ultimate Tactical Visors which to me it’s one of the best ultimate in the game. The Tactical Visor pretty much auto aims for you on to nearby opponents for a total of 6 seconds. This ultimate is particularly powerful when trying to take control over an objective and you have multiple opponents camping it. I must say most of my Overwatch time has been spent playing Soldier 76.
