Dwayne Johnson Announces New MMA Movie

UFC 244 is a highly anticipated mixed martial arts event that is one of the biggest topics in the sports world. Hollywood superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be making an appearance at the event. He gave a press conference the day before the event to announce his newest movie project. He will be starring in a movie about the life of former mixed martial arts fighter and UFC champion Mark Kerr. Johnson said that he has known Kerr for many years. This is a film he has wanted to make for a very long time because of the interesting life that Kerr has led.

Johnson has been an MMA fan for a very long time. He even considered a career as a fighter before he was offered a job by the WWE. He is always looking for interesting stories to tell in his movies. He said that he read a script for the Mark Kerr biographical film and he instantly wanted to be a part of it. He is excited about starting to produce the film. Filming is scheduled to begin early next year. Johnson said that he will be releasing info on other people who will be in the movie at a later date.

Dwayne Johnson has been a massive movie star for quite a few years. He has made the transition from the WWE after starring in that pro wrestling organization for over a decade. Johnson has tried his hand at many different types of films. He is mainly known as an action star. He has been in several of the “Fast & the Furious” films. However, he has also found success in comedies like “Jumanji” and the HBO series “Ballers” where he plays a successful sports agent. This new film about Mark Kerr will be unlike anything that Johnson has ever starred in before. He has never really done a pure drama film before. This film will test the limits of Johnson’s acting ability.

Johnson is not sure when the film will be released yet. He will provide that into when it becomes available. There are rumors that Johnson will be playing Black Adam in an upcoming Shazam movie. Black Adam has been the main enemy of Shazam, formerly known as Captain Marvel, since the 1940s. However, Johnson’s role in the Shazam sequel has not been confirmed as of yet. Johnson will next be seen in the Disney film called “Jungle Cruise.”
