Chris Pratt is a man who wears his appreciation on his sleeve and he wants everyone to see “A Quiet Place,” the newest film directed by his friend John Krasinski. Pratt, one of the many stars in the impending “The Avengers: Infinity War,” was so excited about Krasinki’s film that he jumped at the chance to spread the good news to his fanbase and encourage them to go and see the films for itself.

Pratt began his good news message by admitting that while it was likely a bad idea to simultaneously film himself and drive, being stuck in traffic was sufficient encouragement of safety to go through with it. Pratt told his fans to cancel whatever plans they may have and to just go see the film. He went on to gush about how scary, moving and inventive the film was and that it contained things never before seen in film. He finished his gushing by stating that he could not encourage people to see it as hard as they should.

A Quiet Place took the top spot in the past weekend’s box office figures. Its $50 million debut marks the best American opening since February’s “Black Panther.” Pratt continued his praise for the video by frequently filling its captions with positive text in all capital letters and citing its sterling rating on film ratings sites.

Pratt and Krasinski last worked together during last year’s Memorial Day. Then, they decided to take their time in the United Kingdom and engage in the “Murph Challenge.” Intended to honor fallen soldiers, the Challenge is a multi-event athletic endeavor consisting of two one-mile runs sandwiching a routine of 100 pull-ups, twice as many push-ups and three times as many air-squats. The two men then uploaded their footage to each of their Instagram accounts in order to get people to remember and honor the contributions of servicemen and women.

Pratt’s caption also referenced the duo’s work in NBC sitcoms; Pratt played “Parks and Recreation’s” Andy Dwyer and Krasinski played the “The Office’s” Jim Halpert. Both sitcoms shared creative and executive talent in Michael Schur and Greg Daniels.

“A Quiet Place” features John Krasinski as its director and one of its lead actors. Krasinski’s wife, Emma Blunt, also appears as one of the film’s co-leads. The premise of the film involves a family living in forced silence to avoid drawing the interest of monsters.
