Hillary Involved In Another Scandal?

It seems like every month there is a new scandal Hillary is involved in. She is often linked to the Benghazi incident that left four Americans dead, including an ambassador. She is being indicted by the FBI for deleting 33,000 emails that were stored on a non-secured server. Wikileaks confirmed that the Democratic primaries were rigged against Bernie Sanders. She has had multiple moments during the campaign trail that have people suspicious about her health. Now questions are being asked about the first presidential debate. Did the Clinton political machine somehow alter the outcome of the debate?

Podiumgate – Ear Pieces, Gestures, and Custom Podiums

There are a number of things that people have noticed about the debate. Let’s get the obvious elephant in the room out of the way first. Yes, Lester Holt was wearing an ear piece. While this can be used for purposes that would work against one of the candidates such as receiving live instructions, there is no rule against it. We will never know what was being said to Holt via the ear piece. It is also believed that Hillary had a custom built podium that was different from Trumps. Hers was a bit smaller to create the image of larger stature throughout the debate. She also appeared to keep looking at her podium throughout the debate and the moment it ended, an unidentified man quickly walked over to her podium and removed documents. Did these documents contain the script for that night’s debate and cue moments that Holt would help her in? It also seemed odd that Hillary kept making weird gestures such as scratching her nose while looking towards Holt during key moments. Oddly enough, Holt came in for the save during a few of these occasions. Pure coincidence or intention?

Moderator Influencing Debate

The debate moderator was Lester Holt of NBC News. Throughout the debate it became obvious that Lester Holt had his own agenda he wanted to advance. Often times he grilled Trump hard on different questions, and would not allow him to defer the answer. It is in the best interest of the American people for a moderator to ask the hard questions. The problem is that it was incredibly one sided. Holt would often serve up easy questions for Hillary to knock out of the ball park. By night’s end, Holt had asked Trump a total of 15 questions while only asking Hillary 2 questions. During an election year between two very unpopular candidates, most people have very strong feeling towards these two. Both should be pressed with hard questions about their policies. The American people deserve better than the debate they received in which Hillary was never on the defensive. Perhaps America will stop being a two party nation once both sides are exposed for their flaws equally.
