The 37-year-old has not stayed long in Manchester United, with him only having stayed a year.
Atletico Madrid’s Surprising Interest in Cristiano Ronaldo
Atletico Madrid is considering securing a contract with Ronaldo. Manchester United managed only to finish sixth, meaning they will miss out the Champions League action. With him being their top scorer the new manager Erik ten Hag, sees that Ronaldo should not leave. Following Bayern’s exit from the pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo, Atletico is in the best position to sign him. The Portugal talisman is more expensive than what Atletico would want to offer. Atletico has to bid more than €40million for Ronaldo.
De Light Transfer Update
Matthijs de Ligt is linked to an €80million move to Bayern Munich after spending three years at Juventus. De ligt is expected to sign a deal up to the summer of 2027. The deal is almost closed, with the defender set to complete his medical in Munich on Monday. The defender was also wanted by Chelsea, who had a gap to fill after selling Antonio Rudiger.
Robert Lewandowski Completes Barcelona Medical
Robert Lewandowski joined his teammates in the USA after his move to Barcelona was completed. The striker has signed a three-year contract with Barcelona and has the option to further his contract with 12 months. Lewandowski’s contract at Bayern only had one-year remaining. The striker now awaits introduction following he has completed medical.
