Sports are a great way to get fit and stay healthy, but they can also be a source of stress for men. There is no doubt that sports can be very competitive and stressful at times. However, some sports have become so popular that it’s almost impossible not to love them! Here we take a look at five significant sports which men love.

  1. Football:

Football has been around since the early 1800’s, and although it was originally played by men only, women now play football too. It is one of the most popular sports in the world, and it’s easy to see why. The game involves running, tackling, passing, kicking, shooting, dribbling, and more while wearing heavy padding. It’s an incredibly physical sport, and as such, it requires a lot of strength and stamina. In fact, football players need to build up their muscles over time, just like any other sport. As well as being physically demanding, football can be highly competitive.

  1. Basketball:

Basketball is another hugely popular team sport, with millions playing every day. Like football, basketball is played on a court or field, and it’ll involve running, jumping, passing, dribbling, shooting, rebounding, and more. Unlike football, basketball doesn’t require you to wear heavy protective equipment. Instead, you just need a ball and a pair of shoes.

  1. Tennis:

Tennis is another sport that dates back hundreds of years. It’s a bit different from the others because instead of having teams, tennis is played between two people who compete against each other. You don’t need much space to play tennis either – you could play it outside, indoors, or even in your living room. It’s extremely popular worldwide, and many famous tennis stars were once amateurs before turning professional.

  1. Golf:

Golf is one of the most popular sports in the world, and it’s no wonder why. Not only does it involve hitting a ball with your forehand, but you also need to be able to do all kinds of other things as well-like swimming, running, and jumping. Players can even use their bumps to hit the ball better.

  1. Rugby:

Rugby is similar to American football, except that the rules are quite different. There are seven players to a side, rather than eleven, and there are three downs instead of four. The object of the game is simple – try to score points by getting the ball into your opponents end zone. The player with the most points wins. Although rugby is seen as a man’s game, it’s becoming increasingly popular among women.
