Many adults know that they can find their favorite Coors beer at the grocery store or their local bar. However, not many would associate this iconic alcoholic beverage with being spilled across a highway in massive quantities.

Motorists recently got the surprise of a lifetime in one Florida town. A truck accident caused Interstate 75 to be littered with hundreds of cans of beer. So much beer, in fact, that the highway had to be shut down for several hours. Here’s more information about this interesting accident.

What Caused It

Just after 6 a.m. on September 21, a vehicle crash caused a semi trailer to overturn, and numerous cases of Coors light went spilling out the back of the truck. It all started when a semi truck clipped another truck when they were trying to change lanes. This resulted in other semi trucks trying to brake quickly. Unfortunately, one of them wasn’t able to stop in time and caused this huge pile up.

No Injuries, But A Lot Of Beer

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the accident, but we can’t say the same for the beer cans. Most of them were severely damaged from the impact and needed to be discarded. It took about five hours for all of the beer cans and beer to be cleaned up.

September Is The Month For Crazy Accidents

This isn’t the only crash this month that has left motorists shocked at what was strewn across the roadways. Just last week, a semi trailer carrying sex toys was involved in an accident in Oklahoma. This resulted in hundreds of dildos getting scattered across the highway. The scene was so shocking that reporters had a difficult time covering this accident on air. Just like with the Coors can incident, there weren’t any serious injuries, but the highway was backed up for hours. No word yet on what happened to all of the sex toys.
