Men tend to talk about their fitness more so than women. They commonly have conversations about the gym, the protein shake they drank after their workout, or what program they will start next. Men also sometimes refuse to accept that women are just as strong and athletic as men in some cases because it makes us feel like we’re less of a man if we’re not sweating a little bit at the gym or on the field.
- The gym
Men tend to talk about their workouts in extreme detail and make the workout sound more intense than it is. They will describe every little thing they did during the workout day, from how many reps they lifted to what time they were at the gym. They will also discuss the overall intensity of the whole gym and compare it to other gyms.
- Lifting Weights
Men typically talk about how much weight they lifted in a given workout or how long it took them to lift that weight. They will also discuss how many reps they did with a given weight and if the gym was crowded or not when lifting.
- Diet
Men also tend to talk about the diet that they are on or what supplements they take. It most often happens at the gym, but when they are out running around, there is also a chance of them talking about this topic. They will discuss what they consumed after their workout if they took anything to help them recover more quickly, and how much protein and carbohydrates they ate.
- Fitness Trends
Men also like to discuss any fitness trends going around right now and will ask if others have tried them out yet. They will discuss these fitness trends as if they have also tried them out. They will discuss what the program was and whether it worked for them or not, and if that person should keep doing it.
Men tend to talk about fitness much more than women. It is a big part of their life, and they like to talk about it. They will discuss how long they worked out, when they were there, how many reps/sets they did, and how much weight or plates they added or removed from the bar.
