Andrew Orgen was hitting the gym several times a week. However, he was still not getting the results that he wanted. When he posted pictures on his social media, people commented that he had a dad bod. That is when he decided to change his eating habits.
Andrew weighed 200 pounds at the start of his weight loss journey. He was getting too many calories from his protein sources. He used to eat a lot of baked beans, corned beef hash and brats.
Andrew was able to reduce his caloric intake by 750 calories by switching to grilled chicken, tuna, whey protein and turkey. He also made changes to his workout routine. He worked out three or four times a week. He also focused on different parts of his body on each day.
Andrew quickly lost 10 pounds by making those changes. He managed to go from 198 to 163 in just 5 and a half months. He has also gained muscle weight. He stated that he has never looked or felt better in his life.
Andrew said that eating more protein was not the weight loss advice that he needed. He still wants to gain more muscle and lose more body fat. He also has advice for people who want to lose weight. He says that consistency is the key.
He believes that you should not punish yourself if you have a night where you overeat or overdrink. He said that a light workout will help you the most. He also recommends that you have a gym partner. A gym partner can hold you accountable and ensure that you stay on the right track.
In order to get the most out of working out, you have to make it a habit. It is a lot easier to make it a habit if you have a partner.
