Amazing Subs
In the late 2000’s it was common place to over hear a few bros plan to go out for lunch or dinner and automatically bring up Quiznos as their choice of preference. Some of the most delicious subs ever fabricated by mankind were created in these stores. They forced subway to adopt a toasting option in their own stores. These guys had risque commercials that including singing hamster-rat-mutated creatures humming some lovely melodies and tones while encouraging people to indulge in tasty subs. Evidence below.
What Caused The Downfall?
I recall at one point I ate lunch at Quiznos every day at work with my bros for four consecutive weeks. No regrets were had, these were times of glory and joy, but as the Outsiders would say, Nothing Gold can stay Pony Boy. There was a Quiznos franchise on every major street in every major city. Fast forward to today, and there is barely a handful in every city and incredibly odd in smaller towns.
It’s hard to predict what caused the downfall. Some say its the higher prices compared to Subway. Some say that Jared’s Eat Fresh marketing campaign was genius, and fooled people into thinking Subway was a much healthier alternative to Quiznos. I’ve even heard business insiders say they grew too fast, way too quickly. Another popular example of Icarus flying too close to the sun and losing it’s wings. Regardless of what may have occurred, it’s a damn shame that one of the greatest food venues in the United States is slowly disappearing.
Bros across the globe need to unite and start an effort to bring back this amazing place. $10 for a large sandwich combo with chips and drink was totally worth it for this unique experience.

The downfall is that the quality of food wasn’t the same anymore. I personally use to love Quiznos and subway. But with time you would go and the meats didn’t taste good or fresh. Besides all these places were being replaced with healthy food restaurants that have been opening up. The healthier places have somewhat of they same concept but with better quality food and of course cooked healthier.
Eventually they will be all closed down and bought by healthier food chains.
I am not complaining.
Can’t believe nobody likes my post … Jersey Mikes is king and they have great meaty meat balls according to my friend
I agree with you. Subway and Quiznos are just fast food. They market it as healthy and tasty but they are not. Forget Jerry and his weight loss.
Fuck Quiznos and Subways , Jersey Mikes all the way bro
