Kanye West has been making top celebrity headlines for the past few days now as more and more major brands sever ties with the artist and fashion designer known as Ye.

Seven And Counting

The Washington Post reported on Wednesday that the list of dropped business relationships is growing.

Thus far, there are now seven high-profile brands breaking up with Ye after he made anti-Semitic comments online. These would include Adidas; Balenciaga; CAA; Cohen Clair Lans Greifer Thorpe & Rottenstreich; Gap; JPMorgan Chase; MRC and Social media.

 The Fate Of Yeezy

Ye’s Yeezy trainers now remain in limbo for fans as the iconic sportswear brand Adidas has ended its seven-year partnership with the famous rapper. Adidas said in a statement on Tuesday that KW’s recent comments and actions go against the company’s values, which are all about diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.

Production is stopping on the entire Adidas Yeezy branded products. Those who love the sneakers believe that the prices will skyrocket as it becomes harder and harder to find a pair of Ye’s trademark designs.

Not Billions Any Longer

How has this dented Kanye West’s wallet?

Well, sources say that the hip-hop star and fashion creator is no longer a billionaire. He needs that partnership with Adidas to maintain that lofty billion-dollar status, according to Forbes Magazine. At the moment, Ye’s worth $400 million.

He will no longer be paid by Adidas or make any profit from them. However, now Kanye owns the Yeezy trademark and brand, and he could launch a new range of footwear under his control.

Could he maybe re-establish a partnership with Nike that he once had?

Stay tuned. You never know.

The Loyalty Of Antonio Brown

As more companies and famous brand faces of Kanye West continue to cancel the artist, there’s at least one friend who remains strongly behind him.

Antonio Brown said on Tuesday evening that he’s staying on as the president of Donda Sports. The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers standout says he supports Ye’s freedom of speech, thought and opinion.
