DC Entertainment released new information today about DC Universe, their upcoming streaming service. The company announced that DC Universe would launch at an unspecified date this fall, although some fans will get a sneak peek at the service through a beta test that will begin in August. By far the most exciting news to come from DC’s announcement is new details on the Titans series, which will debut at DC Universe’s launch. Announced in 2017, Titans is an adaptation of the popular Teen Titans comic series and stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Robin. Considered the flagship show of DC Universe, Titans sees Robin join forces with fellow heroes Raven, Starfire, and Beast Boy to stop a conspiracy to unleash Hell on Earth. The show is also rumored to have numerous other heroes from DC’s lineup, including a young Jason Todd, Batman’s second Robin who will become the antihero the Red Hood. The service also announced Doom Patrol, a Titans spinoff set for 2019.

The company also gave additional details on some of the other original shows coming to DC Universe. The animated series Harley Quinn features Harley as she tries to gain admittance into the Legion of Doom with her friend Poison Ivy and several mainstays of DC’s villains roster. Swamp Thing is a live action horror series that follows scientist Abby Arcane as she investigates a deadly virus in the swamps of Louisiana. Last but least, Young Justice: Outsiders continues the adventures of the popular Cartoon Network series as the Young Justice League and the Outsiders fight against meta-human trafficking. All three series are set to debut on DC Universe in 2019.

DC Universe will also feature a large catalog of several classic DC films and television shows. Among the films confirmed for the service are all four Superman films starring Christopher Reeve, as well as Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Lynda Carter’s classic Wonder Woman series from the 70s will also be included, as will the perennially beloved Batman: The Animated Series from the 90s. Several DC Animation films will also air on the site, including Batman: Year One and All-Star Superman. The service will also include DC’s full catalog of digital comics. Subscribers will be able to read issues from the Golden Age of DC adventures to modern comics.
