Google has reported that it has secured several opportunities of the United Kingdom’s vast recruitment services for a local version of its job hunting tool. Guardian jobs, Reed, Totaljobs.com, and Haymarket, are among those providing guides in addition to global websites such as Glassdoor and LinkedIn. Google’s service automatically shows the most relevant and freshest openings by a user’s location when they type appropriate terms into Google search. One expert commented on the same and said that those that will be involved in the process might end up regretting the tie-up. Currently, the United States based leading technology giant is not imposing fees on employment websites to feature their guides nor using their service to place any additional advertisements outside those that generally appear within its results.

Furthermore, all applicants are mandated to still click through the individual’s third-party jobs platforms to apply for a post. One industry-watcher reported that this could significantly change with time. The editor of People management magazine, Robert Jeffery, noted that Google is a behemoth of search. The company joysticks the entry to the internet. This way Robert felt that he understood as to why traffic was focusing on being a part of their job service. Google Company will soon start to charge for premium services and other placements. Also, other third parties that represent a risk to the company will also be placed under strict premium services. The google search for jobs already exists in the United States, parts of Africa and Spain. The organization has claimed that it has already connected people from different areas of the Universe to new job opportunities.

Additionally, Google Company is also reported by BBC to have partnered with other smaller specialist corporates. The product manager Joy Xi said that the firm assists job seekers in finding job opportunities all over the internet. The employers also benefit from the product because of easier discoverability. Joy also mentioned that there were other advantages attached to the individual sites. Joy Xi gave an example of Google’s smart search that meant that applicants wouldn’t have to worry about other several searches to get similar posts listed under the various titles, i.e., Software engineer, programmer, and developers. Moreover, Joy said that the company’s maps data had already been referenced to permit users to see the time it would take to commute to each post. Even with all these advantages, one of the significant vacancies website refused to share their data.
