Some Of The Best Commercials That Generation Y Kids Will Remember
The 1980’s produced some very memorable moments in pop culture history. Music, fashion, and action movies were amazing in every aspect of the word. Nevertheless, commercials didn’t quite have the same feel. Commercials are silly, tacky, and had very little production value. Current commercials have CGI, tons of invested value, and are directed by talented individuals capable of working in Hollywood blockbusters. Companies are taking their advertisement as serious as ever, and spending more than ever. Look no further than the cost of a 30 second commercial during the Super Bowl. Back in 1980, it would cost $222,000. Now in 2017, the cost of a 30 second commercial during the Super Bowl is approx. slightly above $5 million dollars. This is a mind boggling change in a matter of a few decades. But let’s roll back to the times were commercials weren’t as serious and were more fun. You can’t help but cringe and smile at how cheesy these commercials were back in the day. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the commercials that many of us grew up watching, many moons ago.

Ok two things, budweiser commercials were very mellow back in the day. And the BIGFOOT pizza from pizza hut, dude, right in the memories.
