RetroBit Takes The Lead
One of the products that had all the retro gamers excited at CES 2017 was a product made by RetroBit. The company had in display multiple prototypes of the “Super Retro Boy”, a remake of the Nintendo Game Boy. You may ask yourself, how is this possible? It has to do with console licensing and when they expire. This is what allowed the company to manufacture a handheld device that plays all the Nintendo Game Boy, Game Boy Color And Game Boy Advance cartridges. So if you have a pile of old Game Boy cartridges don’t throw them away just yet. Super Retro Boy will be available in two colors (Black, White) for a price tag of $79.99 in August 2017. This is the perfect excuse to revisit some of those classic titles while getting that retro feel. Super Retro Boy also comes with a few advanced features.
Few Advanced Features
Even though most of us like retro gaming nobody likes the technical disadvantages from that time. Super Retro Boy comes with a battery that lasts 10 hours and supports microUSB. It also has a scratch-resistant HD display. The other advantage is the fact that you are getting a 3 in 1 gaming device. Keep an eye out for the release in August.
