Technology has advanced rapidly within the last couple of decades. It has made a direct impact in our everyday lives by making it easier and more efficient. But there were simpler times where manual work was required to perform what we consider easy tasks today. These are the kind of struggles we went through that kids today will never understand or have to deal with. If you were to explain to them how it used to work they would think it was pure comedy. Sadly this was real and most of us got to experience it first hand. Here are the 15 struggles kids today will never have to deal with:
1. Waiting for Dial-up Internet to connect and dropping as soon as someone picked up the landline.
2. Having to rewind VHS cassettes after renting a movie.
3. Looking endlessly through the White Pages or Yellow Pages just to find a phone number.
4. Listening to the radio for hours just to press the record button so you can record your favorite song into a cassette.
5. Blowing your video game cartridge to fix a bugged game.
6. Answering a phone call without knowing who it was.
7. Recording a TV show over your childhood home video and losing it forever.
8. Looking up a movie schedule using the newspaper or by calling the movie theater.
9. Driving looking for directions using an actual paper map.
10. Not being able to save something because you ran out of space on your floppy disk.
11. Putting film inside a camera then going to the photo store to get your film developed.
12. Running with a CD player and the song keeps skipping.
13. Going to the library and using countless books to finish a research paper.
14. Passing notes in class to communicate without the teacher knowing.
15. Having to call to make hotel and flight reservations.

Sadly enough, some of these struggles are missed 🙁
Struggles? You mean the good old fun days
Life before fast internet cannot be considered life
I got in trouble a couple of times passing notes in class. The best part is when the teacher used to read the note outloud
I don’t know whats more annoying the damn Walkman skipping or the stupid internet dropping everytime someone picked up the phone or even called
Oh the good old days….
Life was so simple then… take me back 1990.
Oh man this brings back memories. Too bad kids now a days can’t experience it. They are all spoiled now with such advanced technology. What a shame.
I love those days, more kids outside to play with … now a days kids life is boring
