He is the most polarizing political figure our country has ever seen. By far the most controversial since Richard Nixon or Bill Clinton. He is highly disliked by liberals, and even some conservatives were worried of his maverick ways at first. But Donald J. Trump scored a surprise victory on election night 306-232 against Hillary Clinton. Largely absent from the debates were any in-depth details about the policies of the candidates. We now finally get a feel for what a Trump presidency will look like. His rhetoricĀ isĀ toned down since the election, and starting to sound more like a diplomatic leader. The first 100 days of a presidency speaks volumes about what is to come. Will Trump be the crazed lunatic the media makes him out to be? Or will he surprise fellow Americans by being a strong leader?
