The Scariest Place In The Cosmos
Let’s start off with basic science the majority of us know. 13.8 Billion years ago, the Big Bang happened, and the universe has been rapidly expanding outwards ever since. Of course, with such an astronomical number of events and energy shifting around constantly, odd things can occur. NASA has discovered a handful of voids in space. But nothing quite like the Boötes Void, discovered by Robert Kirshner in 1981. For all we know, there may be more out there, but within not within our visible universe. It is such a large cold void that it ignores the laws of physics. It is believed that for a span of 250 million light years, there is absolutely nothing. It emits no light or space radiation.
Huge Cold Spot In The Middle Of No Where
The center of the Boötes Void is about 700 million light years away. This void is found in the Boötes Constellation. This void takes up 0.27% of the visible universe. Just stop to consider that number for a moment. The actual measurement of the void is diameter is 300 million light years wide. The majority of the universe contains a large amount of galaxies, which contain stars, which release a lot of energy, heat, and radiation. It baffled scientists when they noticed such a large area that was cold, with a very small amount of galaxies within it. As of 1997, it is believed there is as little as 60 galaxies inside this void. If there was ever an area that will allow you to hyperdrive through space, it would be this, because theres an excellent chance you won’t hit anything.
Random Chance Or Something Else?
It is said that if the milky way were at the center of the Boötes Void, humans would of not discovered other galaxies until the 1960s. But how this perfect vacuum in space happened? Well there is a few theories. It is believed that maybe many smaller voids eventually formed together to create a super void, much in the way that small soap bubbles find themselves attaching to large soap bubbles. One of my personal favorite theories is the belief that there may be an advanced alien species out there that utilize something similar to Star Killer in Star Wars Episode 7. This alien species could be sucking up all the nearby energy of stars that are in the surrounding galaxies. Hence forming this large void that otherwise probably wouldn’t had happened naturally.

I think its the Death Star taking over…. but yea its crazy to see such a large gap with nothing in it but a few galaxies. Some people say we are lonely in the universe, maybe so, but how would you feel if you were in the middle of the void itself.
The question is what happens when you go through? Parallel universe?
I think this void is Alien influenced , maybe they hiding something
Maybe that’s the center of the universe and things expanded outwards from there
Just got an alert of my fast commenting… lmao wtf
Aliens……
I wonder what happens if someone goes through the void.
This is some crazy stuff. Well never fully understand how the universe works.
Don’t know how I missed this post… very interesting and u know the saying of something looks bad , smells bad then it’s probably bad… there is something definitely not natural about this void
This is beyond scary I would hate to be in space and go through that hole.
This black hole is so massive that is hard to imagine. You would probably go through it without even knowing.
